I can't find my original neg and this is a scan of a postcard I sent my mother. In those days I'd often take test prints and send them out as postcards from time to time. I suspect that is what this was. I'm loving all the signs of exhausted or insufficient developer and the postal damage.

It is my grandchildren. And I love the light.

It's fantastic! The look on their faces is priceless--and it's so unusual to see mischievous children peeping out of this sort of photo--all dark, and grainy and gloomy looking... The contrast--and the way they brighten it all up--really makes this one something special!

Thanks. They were sitting on the floor next to a door that let in very intense California direct sunlight and there was no source to reflect back on their faces or the surrounding area. I was lucky it turned out as well as it did. I love it for the same reasons you do. Those charming chubby faces and expressions.
